I have over 30 years of experience in the music industry. I am an ordained deacon with a Masters Degree in Theology, as well as a music instructor with a BA and MBA in Business Administration. I was a band leader in middle school and a drum major in high school and college, playing in the marching band and the orchestra.
I teach piano, drums, voice, guitar, and brass instruments, in addition to being a performer, composer, and clinician. I have won numerous awards in keyboard competitions, and I provide keyboard and piano seminars for churches, schools, music teachers and other organizations.
I am proud to be a member of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), the Texas Music Teachers Association (TMTA), the Houston Music Teachers Association (HMTA), and various other national and international organizations. When I am not working, I enjoy helping disadvantaged children learn how to make music.
